St Bartholomew's has a unique history as the church founded in 1110 for the lay workers at Hyde Abbey, where the remains of King Alfred the Great had their final resting place. It is also a place of living community, as a venue for a toddler group, concerts, performances and talks, and living faith, as the parish church for Hyde and Abbotts Barton. Our services are at 10am every Sunday and all are welcome - please see our website for details of all that is happening.
