Welcome to St Mary's Church Wharram le Street.
Situated on the Wolds Way St Mary's is a peaceful church with a beautiful churchyard which has been a part of its local community since Saxon times. The church is open all the time and we welcome visitors.
A church as old as this does need to be looked after so it can continue to serve its community and every regular gift, whatever the size, helps with that.
Thank you for your interest in St Mary's and your generosity.
Welcome to our beautiful and peaceful church with a Saxon tower where people have sat, reflected, prayed and worshipped for 1000 years.
We are on the Wolds Way and you are welcome to join any of our services or to just come inside and enjoy the tranquillity.
