Welcome to our Parish Giving Page, we appreciate your visit, and thank you for reading this introduction to our church. We are a friendly and welcoming Bible believing parish church. We hold regular services and have many groups meeting for different activities on a weekly basis, though some are term-time only, or maybe for a particular reason, such as a Lent Course.
Our church is a beautiful listed building with a churchyard that is mostly maintained by the congregation members. Our bells are rung for services, weddings, etc., and we ensure that they are well maintained. We are also privileged to have a separate building that we refer to as the Church Rooms, where we have post-service refreshments, events, groups meet, and a bathroom is available which includes baby changing facilities.
Every gift, large or small, regular or one-off, are greatly appreciated. We support 12 Missions/Charities regularly every year, plus hold events and services for others, such as Royal British Legion, Tear Fund and a local Food Bank. We like to arrange events that welcome all members of the community to attend, and they are not all for fundraising purposes.
Regular Giving enables the PCC to manage and plan future spending. It is always greatly appreciated that, as costs increase, that regular donations increase by an inflationary amount. Regular Giving through the Parish Giving Scheme also allows us to benefit from monthly credits from recovering Gift Aid for those donations that are gift-aided.
