St Leonard's Church, Wortley

Welcome to the Church of St Leonard in the village of Wortley, South Yorkshire.  We are part of the Diocese of Sheffield.

St Leonard's Church has medieval origins but is mainly 18th and 19th century.  It stands adjacent to the main road in the small village of Wortley serving the hamlets and villages in the Parish of Wortley.  It is 9 miles from Sheffield and 7.5 miles from Barnsley.

Everyone is welcome to attend our services of worship and our church events. Please come along and see what we can do for you and your family and what is happening in the church life of St Leonard's.
