St James Parish Church, Gorton

This Parish has not as yet registered with the Parish Giving Scheme and as such unfortunately you are not yet able to set up a direct debit or make a one-off gift to this Parish. If you would like to in the future, please 'Register your interest' and we will convey your interest onto the Parish.

We are a friendly, diverse church in the heart of Gorton. Everyone is welcome. You may have moved to the community,want to find out more about Jesus; or be looking for a beautiful church to get married in or have your baby baptised. 

Please just come along and get to know us. If you would just like to sit, reflect or talk to someone that is fine.

St James is open on Tuesday mornings at 10.30 for a short communion service. This is a lovely time to have some quietness and reflection in the middle of the week.

We also hold a service on Sunday morning at 10.15. This may be communion or morning prayer. The 4th Sunday is led by a Methodist minister and the 5th Sunday in the month is a team service with Emmanuel Church. The venue alternates on the 5th Sunday.
