St James and St Elizabeth is located in Bickershaw and is also known as Bickershaw Parish Church. It is a traditional church in the small outlying village of Bickershaw, between Abram and Hindley. It has a small but faithful congregation with very close links to the church school built behind the church building. This includes school going into church every week for collective worship which is class-led and well attended by parents.
