St Mary the Virgin church is a beautiful 12th century cruciform church and stands at the heart of Hambleden, one of the most attractive villages in the Chiltern hills in Buckinghamshire. St John the Evangelist church in Frieth, is part of the parish of Hambleden with Frieth and Skirmett, and the church was built in 1848 as a Chapel of Ease, due to the distance of the village from Hambleden.

Hambleden and Frieth parish churches are first and foremost homes to a thriving family of Christians who regularly gather to worship God and to find inspiration for daily life. Both churches enjoy making welcome many hundreds of visitors annually. We would love to welcome you.
