We are one Parish serving the villages of Horndon, Orsett and Bulphan. We are committed to 'knowing and sharing the love of Jesus in the Church and community'. We do this through
- Striving to be a channel of God's love to those looking to our church for help and encouragement
- Visiting the sick, bereaved and the lonely
- Showing hospitality to others through Open Church and social events
- Providing nurture courses to help people to grow in faith
- Engaging with families and children through events like Edward Bear Toddler Group, Messy Church
and Forest Church
- Celebrating and giving thanks with families who bring their children for baptism
- Sharing the excitement of couples wishing to get married

The costs of this ministry are considerable; that is why our Parish Giving Scheme is so important. (Please note that, although Parish Giving displays the name, Orsett Church below, all money given through PGS goes into the Parish of Horndon, Orsett and Bulphan Bank Account.)
