we in the original part of Morecambe, known as Poulton-le-sands. The church has been here for over 275 years and is a grade 2 listed building. We are here to worship God, live faithfully, engage with and serve our community, share the Gospel, and reach out in mission to those in need.

Poulton-le-Sands is an extremely deprived area of Morecambe with many social challenges. As a Church community, we have embarked on what God calls us to do in our parish. We have focused on helping those who are struggling with food insecurity, financial concerns, and social, mental health, or physical issues.

Who We Are

The proper name of our parish is Holy Trinity, Poulton-le-Sands with St Laurence, Morecambe. The church is usually known locally as Morecambe Parish Church.

We are a community of people, who are part of the Church of England, serving the central area of Morecambe. We have a regular Sunday attendance of about 100 adults and 30 children, worshipping at 3 services on a Sunday as well as midweek.

Where We Are

We are located in Poulton-le-Sands, the original village from which Morecambe grew. The church building is on Church Street, near Morecambe Police Station.
