Welcome to Milton Abbey Church which is normally open to the public every day of the year. The church may occasionally be closed for special services.

The church is the monastic church of the former Abbey of Milton. Associated with the church is St Catherine's Chapel which is in the woods to the east of the church. Both buildings are currently owned by the Diocese of Salisbury.

Church of England services, baptisms and weddings may be held in the church but special permission is required for funerals. St Catherine's Chapel is not licenced for weddings.

Vicar of Milton Abbas has the right to hold services in the church and chapel.

Milton Abbey School has been granted a licence to use the church as the school chapel.

The Benedictine Companions of the Abbey at Milton use the church as their mother church and regularly use the church and chapel for the daily office and their monthly eucharist.  

Milton Abbey is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs.
