Regular and sacrificial giving remains the cornerstone of our church finances and is essential to sustain the worship life and service of the church. It is also a statement of faith, as we give back to God out of his generosity to us. While we are very grateful indeed to those who give to the church on a regular basis, we need more regular givers and we also need to review our own giving on a regular basis.

The PCC has agreed to adopt the ‘Parish Giving Scheme’ as the main way in which we will administer giving. The scheme is run as a partnership between dioceses across the country, collecting donations by Direct Debit and claiming Gift Aid on our behalf. There is also an option to index link giving, so that it can grow in proportion to inflation. Our ambition is for all of our regular givers – including those who currently use envelopes or Standing Orders – to transfer to the Parish Giving Scheme.
