Isolation in a rural village like Hargrave is hidden. We have no pub or shop, most people in work go to work elsewhere, children go to different schools and there is no means of getting about if you can't drive. How do you meet your neighbours? How do you make friends with others in the village? Restoring the church has been a journey for all of us which brings us together, whether we have faith or none

We give thanks for our restoration so far, and we remember who helped. We pray to strengthen our faith and resolve to face future challenges by bringing Hargrave together around this modest, but thousand-year-old, church of St Edmund
