We have recently celebrated 130 years since the building of our Church which was established to serve the communities of Gorsley and Kilcot, but which also welcomes, and benefits from, members and visitors from surrounding areas. Every gift, whether regular or ‘one-off’, and of whatever size, contributes to the mission of the Church in so many different ways.

We share our Faith compassionately and non-judgementally, seeking to be both fresh and joyful in worship whilst recognising our traditions. We very much value our active fellowship.

Annually in September we have a ‘Harvest Gift Day’ when we collect donations that are distributed to two charities chosen each year - one addressing local need and one overseas needs. You can donate towards this on this site.

Otherwise during the year donations are put towards the upkeep and running of the Church. Like many another rural church, our upkeep has to come entirely from our own resources. Although not a very old church building compared to many rural churches in Gloucestershire and Herefordshire of medieval origin, there is nevertheless a significant repair and maintenance burden. Not being a listed building there is little or no outside help for this.

Aside from the Church itself we are proud of our churchyard, which is classified as a Site of Significance by the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust due to the rarity and diversity of the meadow species identified. Our conservation management has been recommended to other parishes as an example of best practice, yet again is dependant on our own resources.
