St. Peter's Church is over one thousand years old and is a medium sized church on Manor Road, Elmsett. It's interior contains plain glass windows which give a light and airy feel.
We are a rural, farming community with close ties to other churches in our benefice. Those of Aldham, Kersey and Hintlesham with Chattisham.
The church is within the Deanery of Hadleigh.
We have a small congregation who maintain and keep in good order the church and it's churchyard.
We recently built an extension containing a food preparation area and a disabled toilet facility.
We hold weekly services every Sunday of varying types, depending on the date of the month.

A friendly village church, in the parish of Elmsett

From August 2024 our services will be held every Sunday at 9.30am. On the first Sunday we have Morning Prayer, second and fourth Sunday i we have a Eucharist service and on third Sunday we have our family service.  We welcome all people to come and worship with us and enjoy refreshments and fellowship at the end of each service.
