Welcome to All Saints, Eggesford

The church is open daily between about 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. It stands alone near the River Taw in the centre of a large estate belonging to the Earls of Portsmouth which no longer exists. Inside are impressive memorials to the Chichesters and Fellowes, former owners. We are a friendly congregation welcoming locals and visitors from far and wide to traditional Evening Prayer at 6.00 p.m. on the third Sunday of every month.

We offer a more formal type of service grounded in Church of England liturgy with the love of God at the heart of all we do and offer. The services are generally in traditional language with seasonal services and life events in contemporary language.

There is also a 24/7 telephone line available called 'Daily Hope' which is free and has a selection of hymns, short reflections and prayers call 0800 804 8044. This may be of use to your friends and neighbours who have no access to the internet. Please share it with them.
