Christ our Hope Liverpool is the name of a group of Church of England parishes in West Derby Deanery working towards becoming a single large parish. We long to be “Growing Christ-centred communities that enable everyone to flourish”. Individual churches and worshipping communities will still exist, but the majority of the governance and administration will be shared across the larger parish. This will free clergy and laity to focus on the missional work of the church.

This is part of a Diocesan strategy, supported by the Church Commissioners, called Fit for Mission. Within Fit for Mission there are four missional priorities:-
INTRODUCING people to Jesus
DEEPENING discipleship
DEVELOPING Christian leaders
WORKING for justice

We've set up the Parish Giving Scheme for Christ our Hope Liverpool, to enable giving for 'the mission and ministry of the shared work of the churches committed to working together to the vision of the proposed parish of Christ our Hope Liverpool'.

We'll only become a parish and charity, when pastoral reorganisation is complete, hopefully early in 2025. In the meantime, Christ Church Norris Green will receive any gifts given, keeping them in a restricted fund, to be used for the purpose as identified above.
